Jennifer has worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings throughout her career. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, she began her career working as a counselor/case manager in the Intact Family Program at Lutheran Social Services and then spent the next five years working at Response Center, providing therapy to adolescents and young adults.
Jennifer also spent several years as a Middle School Counselor at North Shore Country Day School, where she provided counseling to preteens and their families.
Ms. Goldstein opened her private practice in 2012 and has focused her practice on helping adults and adolescents on the North Shore. Because Jennifer has spent her career helping families on the North Shore, she has come to understand the specific challenges that are unique to this area including the expectations and pressures associated with growing up, raising families, and defining your identity here.
Jennifer has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and in the treatment of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD).
Because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, Jennifer will work with you to customize a treatment plan that will help you to meet your goals and needs.
